I also really like that it's slim-line. I bought it to replace the Acme Tornado 2000 which was just taking up too much space in my first aid kit. This whistle is ear-poppingly loud just like the '2000, and shaves off a lot of the bulk. Would definitely recommend it for camping/trekking/survival/disaster kits. Nice bright colour too.
