A: Yes it would go in place of current muffler, I have a 96 Jeep ZJ 4.0L and it sounds good

A: I welded it up to the exhaust on my 45 year old Harley.   They make all sizes.  Measure the outside diameter of your exhaust and buy the length that will fit. OR go to your local muffler shop and have them do the whole thing.
