dark gray with black lines

It has been more than a year and I am happy with the quality and look. It is still holding well. Definitely recommend it.

Their customer service was very helpful and easy. I needed the product fast because the contractors renovating my boat had a limited window to install them. They rushed it the rolls (so believe from China) much faster than I expected. Install was done by the contractors but went in very easy and looks GREAT! I had them install it on my back deck, swim platform, and flybridge. I wish I had more surface area to use it. Very soft to walk on, and cleans easy.

I had carpet in my 01 Four Winns Horizon 190 that was junk. I removed all of the snaps. I did have a non-skid surface that I sanded with some 80 grit. I didn't sand it completely smooth, but I took most of the "ridges" off of the non-skid material. Basically, the more smooth area, the better adhesion. I didn't want to trust this adhesive material only, so I used 3M's marine 5200 adhesive. This stuff isn't cheap but it's the best sealant on the market in my opinion. I used 3 regular caulking tubes and spread a thin layer entirely under the EVA mat. I would suggest having two people place the material down, because once it's down, there is no wiggle room or adjusting. I must say that I ordered 4 sheets of this stuff and I let it sit in my garage rolled up for several months until I got time to install it. There was one end of one of the sheets that appeared more "gray" than the other sheets. No big deal honestly, I knew I would have some waste so I just used the other end of the sheet. This stuff cut easily with a razor blade too. Just don't be a cheap person and think just because a razor blade is in your utility knife that it's razor sharp. Do like I did, and start with a new blade. Flip it around or change it as required. Those things are cheap any ways. I'll be sure to come back to this review and update it if this stuff starts to wear out. We keep our boat under a cover & out of the sun & it gets about 20-40 hrs a year of use. It is stored under the cover & in a pole barn during the winter. That being said, I'm expecting the edges to try to peel up a little, and if they do, I'll hit it with that 3M 5200. I'm anticipating on getting a minimum 5 yrs out of this stuff.

I just received 2 pieces of this. The groove widths match and the color matches between the 2 pieces. I'm going to install it in a few weeks and will update periodically about how it wears and the glue holds up. Edit - 2 years later. This has been in my boat for a couple of years. It cleans up well, looks maybe a tiny bit faded but that could also be just it needing a good cleaning. Haven't had any issues and it's nice on your feet. It has not pulled up anywhere, the glue stays down fine. Note, I'm using this INSIDE my boat, not on deck.

Product was attractive and easy to install, however after extended sun exposure the coloring lets off on feet and clothing so kneeling or sitting is not advised. Watch out for shrinkage upon temperature drop.

I used it in the cockpit and seating area of my 40’ boat but did not want to glue it to the deck floor. I used 20mil clear upholstery vinyl as a backer and installed snaps to use in place of my cockpit carpet. I am able to remove the sections and wash them separately. They keep the floor protected and are easy to snap back in place after cleaning. I installed them five years and they have held up better than I expected. I am ordering 2 more sheets to redo the two most used sections which have some food stains, sun shrinkage, and a torn snap which is to be expected going on six years of use. Overall it is a great value and good alternative to the brand name product.

Zero stars, this product is cheap garbage, first of all it comes wound up in a little box so tightly that the backing paper that covers the sticky on the back is all loose, you need to lay it out and put weight on it for two days before you can use it. I ordered in two different orders because I wanted to check out the fit before I got more, here's the really bad part - the color is WAY different than the first batch and the lines are just a little smaller on the second batch I received. This product shrinks after you cut it! ,,, also it's been on my swim platform for a week and you can see that it's shrinking even more and looks like it's already changing color, kinda looks like a pink eraser. Lastly, it does not stick down very well at all!, caution caution caution, I don't recommend

Product bought for Jon boat project. Surprisingly lightweight. Unrolled and left in the sun made installation easy. Used sharp razor to cut and trim. We did have a few seams and were not worried about trying to match the pattern. Adhesive backing seems to be holding well. No other adhesive needed. Boat surface was dry and warm from the sun which I think helped. Purchased 2 rolls not knowing how this would turn out. Only used one with scraps leftover. Going to hold onto the second roll for now. Next project will be the flooring.

Recomiendo mucho comprar un pegamento 3 m en spray para ayudar a pegar Eva, aparte de limpiar muy bien la superficie para una mejor adherencia

My ol' sailboat is full of teak! Where it is not, as an experiment, I have installed EVA faux teak, with black caulk styling (imitation deck caulking) and down below the same, but with the white holly faux wood styling. Thus far it is impressively durable. and very attractive, easy to clean and has not lifted anywhere. Good sound insulation properties as well. Most who come aboard comment favourably on the "new teak work". However, I am situated in the NW - not the tropics. I keep her in the water year round though. In terms of durability, the Jury is still out. Some, but not all, manufacturers provide excellent peel and stick adherence glue. Give it a try. If it does not work out to your liking, then you won't cry too hard into your beer, as the purcahase is modest.

On a mis ça dans la chaloupe de pêche à mon mari c bien installer avec de la colle en spray en surplus. J'espère que ça tiendra jus qu'à l'an prochain

Redid my whole boat removing the old carpet and replaced with this. I used 3M spray before sticking it to the plywood. Wears extremely well. I have used for a year with no issues. Hope they continue to stock this
