How long does it take for new smell to dissipate?

I have a pillow protector as well as pillow case the smell went in a few days

Is this much better than the other pillows on the market, to make it worth the very high price?

I think it is because its exactly the same feeling when you sleep even after years, which is something I didn’t find with other pillows

I bought the tempur comfort pillow for my father and it’s amazing it’s helped him with his neck pain. I would recommend it any day
