## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can i just plug this into my computer usb port - or earphone port to use as a headset for desktop ip calling?**
A: This and most headsets like this have a cord that ends in what is called a quick disconnect. This is made to accept multiple lower cords that would then plug into the device of your choice. You could get a USB lower cord to plug into a PC or a 3.5mm pin jack lower cord to use the headset with a smart phone. See all the available cord options here http://www.headsets123.com/Replacement-Headset-Cords-s/318.htm?searching=Y&sort=7&cat=318&show=2997&page=1&brand=Plantronics

**Q: About the plantronics 78712-101 headset - what adapter cable is needed for avaya 1608 ip deskphones?**
A: Hi there! You'll need the adapter with model 72442-41 in order for it to work with this headset. The adapter is also compatible with the headset at the link below which comes with both foam and leatherette ear cushions and a longer warranty. Feel free to reach out at 1-800-683-5715 for any further questions :)

**Q: Is this a noise cancelling headset?**
A: To expand on Kevin's answer, the headset itself is not noise cancelling (you will still hear what's going on it your environment). Noise cancellation on a monaural (one earpiece) device would be pointless. The microphone, however, IS noise cancelling (meaning the person you are talking to will hear less or no noise from your environment).

**Q: can I use this headset with a panasonic rx-tg9541?**
A: Hello! Unfortunately this model is not listed within our compatibility guide, hence we are unable to guarantee this model will work correctly with your phone. If you have other questions, feel free to contact our Customer Care Team at: 800-985-9815.
