The repair process is semi difficult, and I recommend handling the DS system delicately. You will likely need a repair kit alongside this screen and screwdriver to wedge the device open. Be very gentle with the little red wifi cable inside, it snaps quite easily. Great price and I saved a lot of money compared to going to a repair shop. I replaced my screen about 3 months ago and it still works fantastic. It is durable and works just like a new one. Review: Hesitated BUT 10/10! - Hesitated at first because of the reviews but this screen is great almost looks as good as original a slightly dimmer but cant really notice. Very very happy with this product ## Features - Brand New Top Upper LCD Screen Display Replacement for Nintendo New 2DS XL LL Console with Opening Tool ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Best Sellers Rank | #13,289 in Video Games ( See Top 100 in Video Games ) #398 in Nintendo 3DS & 2DS Consoles, Games & Accessories | | Customer Reviews | 3.8 out of 5 stars 252 Reviews | ## Images ![Original Top Upper LCD Screen Display Replacement for Nintendo New 2DS XL LL with Opening Tool - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61hxZ+PttbL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works perfectly! *by E***L on November 27, 2023* I used the IFixIt guide to replace my upper screen in my 2DS and it functions perfectly! Very very happy with this product ### ⭐ Flimsy Durability *by D***M on August 1, 2026* First Screen the ribbon cable broke super easily. Second screen ordered the screen shattered on first drop installed in the DS. Extremely flimsy and is not as bright as reviews say but definitely manageable for brightness. I want another screen to fix the DS again but I cant recommend this. ## Frequently Bought Together - lenboes Original Top Upper LCD Screen Display Replacement for Nintendo New 2DS XL LL with Opening Tool - Top Surface Lens LCD Mirror Front Screen Lens for New 2DS XL LL Protector Cover Black - New 2DS XL Stylus Pen, Xahpower Replacement Stylus Compatible with Nintendo New 2DS XL, 4 in 1 Combo Touch Styli Pen Set Multi Color for New 2DS XL --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/103730520-original-top-upper-lcd-screen-display-replacement-for-nintendo-new](https://www.desertcart.no/products/103730520-original-top-upper-lcd-screen-display-replacement-for-nintendo-new) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-26*
