Between Mom and Me

My 9 year old son likes to write notes back and forth with me. I saw this journal and thought it would be a perfect Christmas gift. He was very excited when he saw it and wanted to get started journaling right away.

I have been struggling with my 10 year old son and we have just been at each other's throats a lot. I asked him if he would want to do something like this with me and he agreed. Thai has been the BEST week we have had in a very long time. We have connected more, and he's excited to discuss topics with me. We pass this back and forth nightly. We have incorporated this book into his bedtime routine. I recommend this to anyone! I need to order one for my 8 year old daughter now too!

I have an ADHD/ODD son who struggles with writing. This book has been a fun and exciting way to encourage him to write while opening lines of communication between us. It’s been easy for him to follow and he loves finding it under his pillow after I’ve taken my writing turn!

"Between Mom and Me: A Guided Journal for Mother and Son" is a heartwarming journal that provides a unique and meaningful way for mothers and sons to connect. Filled with prompts and activities, it encourages shared reflections, memories, and conversations. This beautifully designed guided journal creates a special space for bonding, making it an ideal gift for capturing and cherishing the precious moments between a mother and her son. It's a thoughtful and sentimental keepsake that fosters a deeper understanding and appreciation of the mother-son relationship.

I wasn’t sure if my technology addicted 9 year old would give this the time of day or not, but I’m pleasantly surprised! He loves the silliness of some of the prompts and the mix between drawing and writing answers. My only reason for putting 4 stars instead of 5 is that I wish there were more blank pages or spaces to write non-scripted text. Overall, LOVE IT. Great mother-son bonding.

This has my 9 year old and I laughing for almost 2 hours. We only did 4 pages and he asked if we could keep writing on the journey instead of watching TV. Like, what?! They have different versions for different relationships, but I highly recommend grabbing one if you want to connect with your kid. My little dude has been through it in the last 2 years and this feels like a great step on working through our communication. Plus, it's super fun.

I bought this for my son and I to do, and honestly it sat there for a while untouched.... But one day I picked it up and decided to start it. I loved the cute age appropriate prompts for us to fill out... Almost like really getting to know each other. He started filling his out too and I believe he liked it... Though I'm not sure he read mine. What we will likely do is fill it out first then maybe go over the answers together one evening. It's such a cute idea!

Love it. Exactly as described!

It's a very cute back and forth journal. I have another one that I bought for my eldest son and this is for my youngest. I'm looking forward to doing it with him and has great age appropriate activities. It is in American English, but doesn't really interfere with the usability for those of us in the UK. I'm very happy with it.

Great book

I love this journal its very well made we both love it very much, it's helping us bond and listen and have fun. I did not expect the outcome at all.. I DO HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR EVERY MOM AND KID!

Muy bonito, es muy buena herramienta para conectar con tu hijo y generar lazos

Such a fantastic idea, and beautifully designed/made. Fantastic quality and very thoughtful in the prompts that are included. Can't wait to have these memories to keep forever.
