Do I need to add a regulator for each line?** A: Air only is allowed through the ports when they are connected to another line. So you can used 1 of the 4 ports and dont have to worry about closing the other 3. To answer your second question, depends on your use for each line. For example, if the psi is at 120 coming from the compressor, but your device only requires 10 psi, then you would need a regulator for that equipment. If you are using all for 4 ports on the manifold and each line has equipment requiring different psi settings, then yes, you should have a different regulator for each line. I have a regulator between my compressor and manifold only and no regulator between the manifold ports equipment because each of my equipment devices have their own regulator built-in. I recommend placing a regulator that is rated to handle all your equipment, between the compressor and manifold to protect them from water build-up and only add regulators between manifold port and equipment only if your device requires a different psi setting from the psi of the compressor.
