Good taste.
I like the taste. It is a little less tasty because I am mixing two teaspoons of brewer's yeast into it. The brewer's yeast is very bitter but tolerable when mixed into this broth. I actually put a little bit of xylitol in it to cover some of the bitterness. Not too bad. Not like my morning coffee, but a couple of big gulps and I'm more healthy for the day.

Organic so you know itโs healthy
Great quality, organic bone broth. I use it when I make soup instead of water.

Great way to get more protein from a versatile item
I am on a pretty strict ketogenic diet. The beef bone broth makes this diet a heck of a lot more convenient! I saute shiitake mushrooms with olive oil & ghee butter then add it to this beef bone broth. I love the soup so much, I eat it every single day. The price on Amazon is unbeatable, especially with the "subscribe & save" option. A great way to protein in from food rather than protein powder. Super happy with it- I always order several at a time.

The product is wonderful, the shipping not so much
I love the product, I give it 5 stars. But the shipping box... I am surprised that their boxes weren't leaking when they got here. 8 boxes , 4 individually wrapped in a single layer of bubble wrap, were tossed in a much bigger box, where they obviously were tossed around hitting each other, ended up dented and squished. Because their original box is so good, they didn't leak. I am not returning, But I don't think I'll order them this way again.

Pacific Foods a subsidiary of Campbells' Company
Yes this is yummy and I been using it though I did contact Pacific Foods regarding specifics regarding where the cows are from and what they were fed. This was my reply to them once they responded: Revised Draft Reply to Pacific Foods: Dear Pacific Foods Customer Service, Thank you for taking the time to respond to my inquiry. However, I must be candid โ your reply was disappointing and did not adequately address the specific questions I raised. I am writing to share that feedback directly, as I believe it is important and constructive. What I specifically asked that was NOT addressed: 1. Certificates of Analysis (CoAs) โ I asked whether batch-specific CoAs are available, what labs conduct your testing, and whether those results can be shared with consumers. This was not addressed at all. 2. Third-party testing protocols โ I asked about independent, third-party lab verification beyond internal testing. This was not addressed. 3. Heavy metals and contaminant testing โ Given the nature of bone broth and its concentration of minerals from bones, I specifically asked what testing is done for heavy metals and at what thresholds. This was not addressed. 4. Testing frequency โ I asked how often testing is conducted and whether results are tied to specific production batches. This was not addressed. What WAS confirmed โ and is concerning: Your response did confirm that your cattle are grain-fed, specifically on corn and soy. This is nutritionally significant information for health-conscious consumers. Corn and soy-fed cattle produce broth with a markedly different omega-6 to omega-3 fatty acid profile compared to grass-fed, grass-finished cattle โ a distinction that matters greatly to those of us who purchase your product specifically for its health benefits. Additionally, your Amazon Q&A publicly states that beef is sourced from suppliers in Texas, Brazil, and Australia โ three vastly different supply chains with different standards, traceability, and environmental practices. This multi-origin sourcing raises further questions about consistency and accountability that your response did not address. Regarding your response itself: The statement you provided โ "We use the latest scientific data and regulatory guidance to inform our ingredient testing protocols and supplier specifications, meeting government requirements, continually examining changes in knowledge and thinking for applicability to what we make. We are committed to offering you products that only meet our safety and quality requirements" โ while professionally worded, is fundamentally a statement of minimum regulatory compliance, not genuine consumer transparency. It does not answer a single one of my specific questions. Consumers who take the time to ask detailed, informed questions deserve specific, detailed answers โ not polished corporate language. A note I feel compelled to share: I want to be transparent with you: I recently learned that Pacific Foods has been a subsidiary of Campbell Soup Company since 2017. I suspect many of your loyal customers โ myself included โ are unaware of this. The Pacific Foods brand has long carried an identity associated with independent, mission-driven, organic food values. That identity now sits within one of the largest industrial food corporations in the United States. I believe your customers deserve to know this, and I believe your brand has a responsibility to be forthcoming about it rather than allowing consumers to purchase under a different assumption. I do not share this to be unkind. I share it because I genuinely believe Pacific Foods โ and the people within it who still care about its original mission โ is missing a significant opportunity to build lasting trust with the very consumers who have supported this brand. Transparency, documented testing, and honest sourcing disclosures are not merely nice-to-haves โ they are what separate a trusted health food brand from a commodity product. I hope this reaches someone within your organization who finds it useful. Respectfully, Michael, 06 17 2026
