Invariably someone would get their sleeves wet with the old model. This one has the eye in the perfect spot on the left side of the faucets the black coating is clean and sleek looking. I purchased black for my kitchen and stainless for my laundry room. Super pleased with functionality. Have had installed for 5 months.
